‘Local Chocolate’ is a chocolate bar brand that responds to a macro trend from 2021, supporting local. It has five fruit flavours which each are partnered with different Orchards:
- Dark Orange using oranges from Twisted Citrus
- Tangy Feijoa using feijoas from The Feijoa Company
- Crisp Apple using apples from Mt Erin New Zealand
- Sweet Boysenberry using boysenberries from Tasman Bay Berries
- Juicy Apricot using apricots from Central Otago Fruit.
The branding and packaging of the bar aims to be enticing on the shelf but also not be too exotic and still fit with the other chocolate bars in the market.
