The Power of Light is an explorative book that aims to challenge the readers perspective of light and darkness. It takes the reader on a journey through exploring different types of light, shadows and darkness and the influence they have on our moods, behaviour and the way we live. Shown through personal reflections and memories, outsourced research studies, photographs and more tactile experimental pages, The Power of Light aims to encourage the reader to slow down from their busy lives and think more about the seemingly smaller aspects of our world.
The book is split into two sides, The Light Side, and The Dark Side. I wanted light and dark to be separate however light and dark are so intertwined with each other they had to be connected one way or another. This is how the dos si dos binding style came about.
